S01 E01
Live or die
No turning back! Minh Phat Tu and Simon Mathys agree that the pandemic has turned their lives upside down. The two chefs, who had been living in a fast-paced, adrenalin-fueled environment, were forced to rethink their priorities. And the results have been felt as much in their personal lives as in the management of their restaurant.
S01 E02 - Take-out to stay?
S01 E02
Take-out to stay?
Pizza on the go or gourmet food at home? Take-out menus were meant to be a temporary solution, but quickly turned into a business opportunity for the chefs behind Moccione and Menu Extra. Two close-knit teams that reinvented themselves twice!
S01 E03 - The quest
S01 E03
The quest
All chefs say it: you have to be a bit crazy to open a restaurant! It's a dream that many cherish, but is this “golden prison” the only option? Anita Feng's and Massimo Piedimonte's projects have taken two opposite directions, with their share of adrenalin and challenges.
S01 E04 - The party's over
S01 E04
The party's over
Restaurant business: a life of excess? Faced with the pressure of running a fast-growing restaurant, work and alcohol quickly took over for Kim Côté. The pandemic forced her to stop and rebuild. The best and worst time of her life!
S01 E05 - Out of service
S01 E05
Out of service
Running a gourmet restaurant without waiters or waitresses: the idea seems completely far-fetched. But under the constraints imposed by the pandemic, Antonin Mousseau-Rivard put it to the test. And the effects he observed on the well-being of his chefs led him to adopt this model on a permanent basis. A philosophy at odds with Morgane Muszynski, who dedicates her life to service. Have we found a solution to the tensions between kitchen and service?
S01 E06 - Family meals
S01 E06
Family meals
Speaking with a common voice: a challenge Quebec restaurateurs had never managed to accomplish before the pandemic. When the entire industry came to a sudden halt, Julien Masia, Normand Laprise, Charles-Antoine Crête and dozens of other chefs pulled together and forged new links. A mobilization that, among other things, gives better access to local products.

“We finish watching the six short episodes with a lot of admiration for the resilience of these brave men and women who were able to question themselves, then impose their healthier way of doing things, for the future.”
