Neighbors

Neighbors is portraits and projects. It’s also, as the title suggests, a human story of cohabitation. A cohabitation sometimes harmonious, often distant, sometimes abrupt, between different cultures, religions and neighbors. A small urban enclave situated between Highway 15, Côte-Vertu Boulevard and a railroad line, the neighborhood has a population density equivalent to that of Seoul in South Korea.

The Neighbors project was born of a collaboration between Picbois Productions, the City of Montreal and Akufen, to raise awareness of the Integrated Urban Revitalization (RUI) process underway in the Chameran district of the Saint-Laurent borough.
