Winter Harvest – Film
Winter / Agriculture / Pionneers
Growing vegetables in the heart of our long winters? Such is the feat a few determined local organic growers have taken on. Winter Harvest showcases three farms where spinach, celery, kale and other cold-loving vegetables grow. A well-known figure in this movement, Jean-Martin Fortier, is categorical: the current context very much favors winter agriculture!
Everyday, the pioneers of the Ferme des Quatre-Temps, the Jardin des Funambules and the Ferme Chapeau Melon are making new discoveries and advancing knowledge in this new field of agriculture, making it more and more attainable!
