A hole in time – Film
Detention / Penitentiary / Crime / Portrait
In the intimacy of their cells and in the corridors of the Archambault federal penitentiary in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, six inmates talk about their experiences, offering a unique portrait of the prison environment. In A hole in time, prison is more than just a matter of numbers and crimes. It is illustrated through the reflections of men sentenced to ten, twenty, thirty years in prison. With them, we discover a more human, less sensational and more complex world than that usually portrayed by the media.
